Meine Inspiration

self portrait for my figure drawing class done back around January or February. the only limit we had on the project was we had to have some part of the human body in the picture. and the picture had to relate to us. beyond that we could what ever we wanted.

ok the title is German for my inspiration. I picked that title because the color scheme for this picture was from my love of Gustav Klimt. the bottom design is based off of the hat that Urahara wares in Bleach. I cosplay as Urahara so i wanted have some aspect of him in the picture. The word is from Castle in the sky. it is the spell of destruction. this along with the bottom design so the influence anime has had on me. Balos being the spell of destruction also shows my love of action and large explosions. the five red symbols show my love of glyphs, symbols, and crests. I have five different ones each on a different finger. I did this to show my individualism as my "finger prints" are my own. The hand with the eye is a concept I have always like it like a third eye but not. Also a friend pointed out it is like i see with my hand when i create. or how as an artist i see something and recreate it with my hands. i did a little bit of splatter for interest.
